Fire Hooks Unlimited Hydrant Folding Spanner

An original tool from Fire Hooks Unlimited. It will seal both 2 1/2″ and 4 1/2″ hydrant outlets even if they have damaged or missing nipples. It can easily be installed by one firefighter without putting hands on the hydrant like other devices may require.

TO OPERATE:

Have finger grips in the down position. Place the cross piece stop into the hydrant. Rotate 180 degrees so finger grips are on top, this lets cross stop drop vertically in the hydrant, now turn 90 degrees and turn handles and rubber washer clockwise to seal the outlets of the hydrant.
