Shipping Policy and Rates
Shipping costs for items purchased on this website are a calculated estimate for shipping to the contiguous 48 states in the U.S. and in some rare occurrences, you may be contacted for additional freight charges especially, but not limited to, if you are shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or Internationally.
Shipping on all orders will be ground shipment. Contact us for expedited shipping options. Please note that some items are made-to-order and may take up to six weeks to be built. Also note that if you order more than one line item, we ask for your patience as your purchase may arrive in separate shipments.
Please allow 1-2 business days for online order processing. Your order will be shipped to you as soon as all balances have been reconciled and all information verified, unless you are on open account with us. To learn more about starting an open account with Columbus Supply, please contact us.
Not all items can be shipped to PO boxes. If you place an order with a PO Box as the ship to address, please also provide a physical shipping address in the event that your items cannot ship via U.S. Postal Service.
Columbus Supply is not responsible for the customer ordering the wrong product, so please verify color, size, quantity, and product before submitting your order.
International Shipping Policy
Columbus Supply will sell and ship to international customers. Any international orders placed through the website may require additional funds to cover shipping costs or can be cancelled and refunded immediately.
Additional Accepted forms of payment for international orders are:
– Wire transfer
– Certified check/Bank draft
– PayPal eCheck (if available in your country)

Payment is required in full prior to shipment unless approved for an open account
NOTE: In the event of a wire transfer payment, we are not responsible for any fees you may incur. If we are short-paid by a wire transfer payment, we will not release the items until the full balance has been reconciled. It is recommended that you double check with your wire transfer agent to ensure that the full amount (not including fees) was sent to us.
We will accept new, unused returns up to 30 days from the shipping date. There is a 15% restocking fee for all returns, plus return freight. To arrange a return, call us at (614) 237-2933 for return authorization and instructions.
Additional Shipping Fee
Due to their excessive size and/or weight or hazardous materials properties, some items will require an additional shipping fee to be added outside our pricing schedule outlined above in order to cover our shipping costs. When this is the case, the buyer will be notified both when adding the item to the cart and at checkout.
The extra amount should be displayed when adding the item to the cart. In the event that this is not covered in the chekout process, you will be contacted via email or telephone.
We try to avoid adding additional fees whenever possible (to keep our prices low), but occasionally an item will require us to apply this extra charge due to the nature of the shipping industry.
One reason why most other places have higher prices than us is because they build their shipping surcharges into the prices of their items. We do not. In order to keep our prices low, we apply shipping surcharges to certain orders only when they are required of us. Note that these surcharges are applied on a per-order basis, not per item.
Also note that if one order contains items from multiple sources, these surcharges will stack on one another. For instance, if you buy any combination of items from different sources listed below, you will be charged for their respective surcharges.
