Aluminum connector with RISE Lock™ sleeve. The classic wide-base HMS pear shape makes it suitable for belaying with a clove hitch or Italian hitch. Can be used with all belay and anchoring systems, both at belay stations and when connected to the harness.

• The RISE™ (RIght SEquence) automatic sleeve is an innovative, patented solution by Kong that offers the convenience of 2-motion sleeves while significantly reducing the risk of accidental opening. Its function is simple yet effective: to open, two distinct movements must be made—rotating the sleeve and then opening the gate—in the correct sequence. If the sequence is not followed, such as in the case of rope twisting around the sleeve or rubbing against an edge, the locking system intervenes to prevent accidental opening.
