Call for action, Jesse Treat...One of our brothers, Jesse Treat, has just undergone a neck fusion surgery. Due to his injury, he will be without income for 2-3 months. The Berthoud Association of Professional Firefighters is putting together a silent auction/chili cook off to try and raise funds for him in his time of need. A website has been set up at www.helpourbrotherout.com and also a Facebook account named Support FF Treat. Jesse Treat has been in the fire service for 14 years serving as a Wildland Firefighter Engine Boss, as well as a Structural Firefighter. Jesse has dedicated his life to helping others not only in The Berthoud Fire Protection District, but also around the entire United States. Just in 2012 alone, Jesse fought Wildfires in Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota. He has also been to many other states for Wildfires that include New Mexico, Idaho, California, Arizona, and Nebraska. When Jesse is not out fighting wildfire, he is at the fire station performing the rigorous jobs of a firefighter, driver operator, and acting as an officer. Jesse is also an avid hunter who truly enjoys the outdoors. He is in great spirits throughout this entire process. If you can do anything to help this man, please contact the above mentioned links.
